Do you know Wheaties Cereal?
Having debuted in 1921, It has been one of the most popular cereals in America for over 100 years.
But, it almost died an early death due to low sales. In 1921, Wheaties launched the first-ever singing ad campaign: a jingle.
Thanks to the popularity of this jingle, Wheaties not only survived but thrived.
Why jingles might be one of the most under-utilized marketing opportunities of modern times.
Remember the commercials from your childhood?
You may not be able to remember your parents' cell phone number, but I bet you can sing along to an ad commercial from your childhood.
Music makes things memorable.
With enough repetition, music etches things in your brain.
This can be powerful for your brand.
Can a jingle save or boost your brand? Before you decide that, let’s look at the anatomy of a successful jingle:
3 keys to a perfect jingle:
Catchy, almost cringe-worthy lyrics with a rhythm
Repeats your brand or product name
Call to action: Tell the consumer what to do next

What could be a jingle for the Actionable Wisdom Newsletter?
Let the creative juices flow :)
Love this, Prince!
That's what I call thinking outside the box.
"Actionable Wisdom Newsletter
The one that'll make you even better
For you, the all-time go-getter"
😂😂😂
This was great! I was born in 1970 ... I definitely remember jingles. I also knew someone who wrote advertising jingles. I think what works now is short few-word jingles, much like McDonald's "I'm lovin' it." With that in mind, I recommend a jingle for the Actionable Wisdom Newsletter incorporating the words wisdom and action,. Maybe "wisdom in action." Take it with a grain of salt ... I'm a long-form writer!
